About the department:

The department offers Masters’s in the field of Commerce. The Master in Commerce program is started in 2010. It believes in nurturing and developing professional competencies in students through quality education, research, and continuous innovation. The students of the department graduate with a concrete understanding of relevant subject knowledge and strong problem-solving skills in diverse areas with human values. It also grooms the students intending to make them industry-ready professionals with hands-on knowledge in their selected field of specialization to effectively contribute to society with commitment and integrity. From the inception of the department, it has produced more than 600 Post Graduate students. The students of the department are serving society by occupying prominent positions in various Universities, Corporates, Colleges, Government departments, and also by their own business establishments, etc. The department provides various platforms for the students to nurtures skills, innovate and build leadership through various curricular and extracurricular activities. The faculty members of the department are very active in research manuscript publication, books, edited volumes, etc., their research work is well cited by the research community.
