The post-Graduate was started simultaneously with the Departments of Commerce and Economics in 1979 by the University of Mysore. With the shifting of departments to the new campus.  The Library was also shifted in the year 1997.
Currently Library is centrally located with stock section in the first floor and reference cum periodical section in the second floor

The library has total collection of 13,881 in books, 1,100 back-volumes of periodicals and govt. reports, thesis and dissertations etc. The books of all departments arranged in open access system under subject headings, with shelf list guides are labeled on each stack it enable the readers to find their books.
